1. The only graduation
There is no point at the end of this course where you graduate.
What there is, instead, is the moment you notice you've been writing prompts as specs without thinking about it. Naming the dimension instead of saying better. Adding the context that lived in your head. Stating the format before the model picks. Iterating instead of restarting. Seeing your bad prompts and revising them — not abandoning them.
That's the graduation. It's quiet. It happens to people who weren't trying to notice it. If you're still reading, you're closer than you think.
2. The thing you take from this course
If you forget every single sentence in this course and remember only one thing, make it this:
A prompt is a spec. The parts the spec doesn't name, the model invents.
Everything else in this course is a way of arranging your prompts so more of them are specs and fewer are wishes.
3. The main thing
The main thing is the next prompt you write, today or tomorrow.
Pick a real task. Write the spec, not the request. Name the dimension. State the format. Show, don't tell. Send it. Read what came back like a diagnostic. Revise. Send turn two.
